The Flower Toss involves all the single women. They gather in a group; the bride turns her around and tosses her bouquet behind her. The lucky woman who catches her bouquet is said, according to tradition, to be the next one to be married.
A nice touch that many brides are doing is loosening the bouquet a little bit from its binding, so that when its tossed, it opens up and “showers” the women with loose flowers. It makes for a great photo opportunity, and allows all the women to catch a flower or two.
