Privacy

What information this site collects, why, and how to change your choices.

Today’s Weddings has been publishing wedding planning material since 1999. There are no accounts, no logins and nothing to sign up for. This page explains the few places where information is involved anyway.

The contact form

If you write to us through the contact page, we receive your name, your email address, the topic you picked and your message. It goes straight to our mailbox as an email so we can reply. It is not published, not added to a mailing list, and not sold or shared with anyone. The message is delivered by Resend, which handles the sending on our behalf.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells a person from a bot. It runs when you submit the form and stores a short-lived token in your browser to do that. Without it, the form would be filled by automated spam within days.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, it keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, browser, the page requested — and may set a small number of cookies that keep the service working and fend off attacks. These are not used to build a profile of you.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show the advertising that pays for the site. AdSense sets cookies in your browser and may use them to make the ads you see more relevant, and Google may use information about your visit as described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, you will be asked before any advertising cookies are stored. That question comes from Google’s own consent message, a certified consent platform. Until you answer, and if you decline, advertising storage stays switched off and any ads shown are not personalized. You can change your answer at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Elsewhere, ads run by default. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google’s ad settings, and your browser can block or clear cookies at any time — the site works perfectly well without them.

Your choices

You can change your cookie consent from the footer link whenever you like. If you want to know what we hold about you, or want a message you sent us deleted, write to us and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is written for adults planning a wedding. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If what we do with information changes, this page will change with it, and the date below will move.
